Laura Wong-Pan is a New York State attorney based in the Hudson Valley. She practices in the areas of employment law , civil rights, and education/special education law and also handles residential real estate transactions.
She was previously an associate, then partner at a Dutchess County law firm, representing school districts and universities (2012-2018). Prior to that, she served as Senior Assistant County Attorney in Orange County (2002-2012), and was an associate at Vladeck, Waldman, Elias & Engelhardt (1998-2002) a firm representing unions and employees. She started her legal career as a Field Attorney for a Federal Agency, the National Labor Relations Board, Region 2 in New York City (1995-1998).
Ms. Wong-Pan is currently President of the Mid-Hudson Women's Bar Association, a chapter of the Women's Bar Association of New York (WBASNY).
Alternative Dispute Resolution:
Ms. Wong-Pan serves as an Arbitrator on the FINRA panel, and as a Court-appointed Part 36 Foreclosure Referee. Completed 2017 American Arbitration Association's A. Leon Higginbotham, Jr. Fellowship program, and received mediator training through Westchester Mediation Center.
